Positions of interest:

Graduate Behaviour Support Practitioner

Hourly rate: $39 – $42 per hour*

  • Supported role transitioning from university into professional PBS practice.
  • Work closely with experienced practitioners and structured supervision.
  • Complete Core accreditation within 6 months with Brightt’s support.

Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner

Hourly rate: $41 – $51 per hour*

  • Manage complex cases and deliver high-quality PBS for diverse participants.
  • Mentor and support graduate practitioners.
  • Maintain Proficiency or advanced level on NDIS Practice Standards and PBS Capability Framework.

Team Lead – Behaviour Support

Hourly rate: $52 – $56 per hour*

  • Supervise and develop the PBS team, ensuring quality, compliance, and mentoring.
  • Maintain Proficiency / Advanced/ specialist level on NDIS Practice Standards and PBS Capability Framework.
  • Leadership experience is not essential but highly desirable. Also ability to handle complex case load is essential.

*Rates indicative only. Final remuneration depends on experience, qualifications, and NDIS accreditation level.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: Graduates can be enrolled or in the final year or recently completed a degree in Psychology, Therapy, Counselling, Social Work, Developmental Education, Education, or related field while Senior and TL would have a completed degree.
  • Demonstrated experience as NDIS behaviour practitioner (mandatory only for Senior and TLs)
  • Strong communication, writing, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to achieve Core proficiency (graduates) or maintain Proficiency/ Advanced or Specialist level (seniors/TLs) on NDIS Practice Standards and PBS Capability Framework.
  • Current and unrestricted driver’s licence and ability to travel regionally every 4–6 weeks (all expenses paid).
  • NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check, WWCC and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • Comfort working in a dog-friendly office environment.
