Concierge and Security Officer

The Sky Lounge 6009 is seeking a professional and reliable Concierge and Security Officer to manage the entry to our premium rooftop bar.

This is a static door security position, focused on access control and strict compliance with WA liquor licensing laws. The role is well-suited to someone who is alert, customer-focused and confident in enforcing venue policies in a calm and professional manner.

You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and controlled entry environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant presence at the venue entrance during all shift hours
• Control and monitor patron access in a safe and orderly manner
• Verify valid identification to ensure all patrons are 18+
• Refuse entry to underage, intoxicated or prohibited individuals
• Observe and assess patron behavior, including signs of intoxication
• Enforce Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and venue entry policies
• Report incidents (e.g. refusals, disturbances, licence concerns) to management immediately
• Complete incident reports as required
• Maintain a professional, calm and respectful approach at all times
• Apply entry decisions consistently and without bias
• Wear required security identification at all times

Requirements

• Valid WA Security Licence, such as the Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20218) for Crowd Control/Guard roles.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Professional presentation and reliability
• Ability to remain alert, composed, and decisive in a public-facing role
