Description

We are looking to expand our Finance team with the addition of an Accounts Officer in our Haymarket office. The role is a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) position. The role is a great role for someone with 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, who is looking for a role with meaningful work with an organisation which gives back to the local community.

The Accounts Officer position is a dual role across both accounts payable and receivable functions. For accounts payable, the responsibilities include processing invoices and payment runs, response to queries, managing credit card transactions, assisting with leasehold management, bulk bill processing, and completing other routine and ad hoc tasks as required. On the receivable side, the role covers processing of tenant and third-party receipts, bank reconciliation, issuing proforma invoices, supplier setup management, response to queries, and additional routine and ad hoc tasks.

This role also involves supporting the broader Finance team with ad hoc tasks, investigations, cross-training, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support us to fulfil any statutory and regulatory responsibilities, you will do this by consistently ensuring accurate and timely record keeping of all invoices into the system and preparing reconciliations.
  • Support us meet our financial goals and obligations through timely processing of payments, managing refunds/credit notes, processing rent increases/adjustments and preparing relevant invoices for tenants.
  • Deliver consistent quality of customer service to internal and external clients. You will do this by adhering to our Customer Service Charter, and any relevant policies and processes.
  • Support and drive the efficiency and performance of the wider team and Finance department. 
  • Ensure we maintain a sustainable financial position by providing accurate and timely rent comparison reports, reconciling rent statement for relinquished properties and providing advice and ad-hoc reports to the business units to aid decision making.

  • This role is graded as a Level 3 under the SCHADs; Bridge’s remuneration package ranges from $84,014-$90,097 plus superannuation
