About the opportunity

As Australia’s newest uranium producer, we’re growing and looking for an experienced Site Administrator to join our team at the Honeymoon mine site.

Reporting to the Site Services Superintendent you’ll provide high level administrative support to the site leadership and operations teams to ensure that the site runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a busy role with diverse responsibilities including administrative tasks, staff and contractor mobilisation, travel and accommodation management, document control, and communications.

Your ability to communicate is second to none; with a mature and confident approach, you adapt and flex to the needs of site, you understand the dynamics of an operating mine site, and the focus on safe, compliant production.

The role will be FIFO from the Adelaide charter terminal direct to site or DIDO from Broken Hill on an 8:6 roster.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Perform a full range of administrative, record keeping and data entry tasks.
  • Maintain various site registers.
  • Maintain the site roster
  • Manage flights (charter and commercial) and accommodation for staff, contractors and visitors
  • Conduct site familiarisations and inductions as required.
  • Raise purchase requisitions, reconcile and receipt invoices
  • Administer the Honeymoon Document Control Management System (CDMS)
  • Complete ad hoc projects as required.

About You

What you’ll need:

  • Significant experience in a similar role in mining or heavy industry; FIFO preferred.
  • The ability to perform a full range of administrative, reporting and mobilisation tasks.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to pick up systems quickly e.g. Pronto, Donesafe, travel management.
  • High level proficiency with the MS Office, in particular MS Excel and the ability to create and format documents and presentations.
  • An unrestricted driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
  • Strong attention to detail with the abilities to plan, prioritise, and organise.
  • Resilience to work 12-hour days in a remote location on an 8/6 roster.
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment Medical assessment & National Police Check

While not essential a qualification in administration or business will be highly regarded.
