About the opportunity
As Australia’s newest uranium producer, we’re growing and looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Honeymoon mine site in South Australia.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for the planning of day-to-day plant maintenance including short term and long-term preventative maintenance planning and the development of condition-based monitoring strategies to ensure asset health is kept to a consistently high standard.
You’ll ensure that all planning and scheduling activities comply with regulatory and site requirements.
By working closely with the Maintenance Superintendent and Supervisors, you’ll ensure quality maintenance performance, including asset availability and reliability.
Working on a small site, you’ll need excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships across our teams and with external stakeholders.
The role will be FIFO from the Adelaide charter terminal or Port Augusta, direct to site on an 8:6 roster. We will also consider DIDO from Broken Hill.
In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:
- Maintain and improve asset health through effective planning, and reliability improvement.
- Prepare and deliver the weekly maintenance plan for equipment.
- Complete end of week/month reporting.
- Develop shut down plans.
- Develop task plans for executing routine and one-off maintenance activities.
- Schedule day-to-day servicing of equipment, major component change outs and equipment overhauls.
- Identify critical spare parts to be held in stock on site and min/max levels.
- Raise work orders and order parts for routine tasks.
About You
What you’ll need:
- Significant experience with fixed plant on a mine site.
- Experience in a similar role ideally in a FIFO mining environment.
- A strong mechanical aptitude.
- A thorough understanding of and practical experience with modern maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
- High level proficiency with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and MS Project.
- An-depth working knowledge of Pronto.
- Experience in the development of Master Data and Bills of Material.
- A continuous improvement focus and solutions orientated approach.
- A strong focus on and commitment to, working safely.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and national police check
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
