Boody is looking for Product Manager to join us on a fixed-term Parental Leave contract.

As Boody’s Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading Boody’s Product function, covering Design, Production, Logistics and Product Strategy. This role is about ensuring all of our products align with the company’s strategic vision, sustainability commitments, and commercial objectives. The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, maintaining high standards of product quality and performance, and fostering strong supplier relationships to support sustainable growth. What is this role all about?

Production, Supply Chain & Inbound Logistics

  • Lead the production and logistics team, overseeing production planning and manufacturing processes, ensuring ethical sourcing, quality control, and supplier performance meet Boody’s high standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and partners to optimize production efficiency, cost, and sustainability.
  • Own all product costing and data maintenance, including global FOB and Landed costs, working closely with Finance to ensure cost targets are met while maintaining strong product quality and sustainability commitments.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management in collaboration with the Planning and Merchandise teams to optimize product availability and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with Merchandise teams and production team to ensure order cadence is optimized and global purchase orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee supplier relations with all freight forwarders, including rates and lead times.
  • Oversee all stock in transit reporting to ensure wider business has full visibility on open purchase orders, stock in transit and key out of stock risks.

Product Design, Development & Innovation

  • Lead the Product Design team, overseeing the design process to ensure brand and creative direction is maintained and well executed.
  • Champion research and development efforts to identify market trends, new materials, and innovative product opportunities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design and development process, ensuring product concepts align with brand identity and customer expectations.
  • Provide proactive leadership to the Design and Development team members, supporting them in managing the selection and testing of materials, ensuring quality, sustainability standards, fit and wear testing processes and product validation.

Product Strategy

  • Drive Boody’s Product vision, strategy, including defining and owning Boody’s long-term product vision and strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Integrate pricing strategies, margin targets, and factory/production capabilities into the product planning process, ensuring financial and operational viability.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sustainability initiatives embedded into every stage of the product lifecycle (materials sourcing, manufacturing, end-of-life).
  • Lead the creation and execution of New Product Development (NPD) frameworks, ensuring clear stage-gate processes, robust concept validation, and strong cross-functional delivery.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to shape product positioning, customer messaging, and integrated go-to-market strategies that drive growth and customer connection.
  • Lead the end-to-end range management process: from seasonal assortment planning, category architecture development, SKU rationalization, to post-launch performance analysis.

We’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a product leadership role within apparel, fashion, or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of product design, development, and production processes.
  • Proven experience leading sustainability initiatives in product development and manufacturing.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance creativity, innovation, and business strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex supply chains and work with global manufacturing partners.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
