About the role
It’s an exciting time to join one of the leading non-bank lenders in Australia as we embark on ambitious growth plans across the country. Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the direction of a marketing function that sits at the heart of how we attract brokers, engage borrowers, and communicate who we are? As our Marketing Manager, you’ll step into an important role that goes beyond a traditional maternity cover, supporting the delivery of our marketing strategy while driving strong execution across a range of channels and audiences
In this role, you’ll be the engine behind Bluestone’s broker acquisition and engagement strategy. You’ll bring clarity to complex problems, uplift our messaging, and ensure high‑quality delivery across brand, operations, and experience. You’ll thrive in a dual‑audience environment, where brokers are our distribution partners and borrowers are at the centre of every lending decision.
Working alongside a capable team and an established brand, you’ll strengthen cross‑functional collaboration, enhance reporting and insight, and accelerate the pace of marketing in a regulated, sales‑led environment.

Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
- In partnership with the wider team, continue to evolve the marketing strategy across broker acquisition, borrower engagement and product marketing, aligned to originations goals.
- Provide marketing guidance to executives and champion customer‑centric thinking across all activity.
- Translate market, broker and borrower insights into clear actions.
Product Marketing (B2B & B2C)
- Develop product positioning and messaging for brokers and borrowers.
- Lead go‑to‑market planning for launches, rate changes and initiatives.
- Distil complex lending products into clear, compliant communication in partnership with Product, Legal and Compliance.
Campaign & Channel Execution
- Set the standard for campaign quality across digital, CRM, events and trade media.
- Drive efficient delivery with strong KPI frameworks and performance reporting.
- Conduct ongoing competitor and market analysis to inform strategy.
Broker Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Partner with BDMs and Sales Managers to deliver relevant, on‑brand content and tools.
- Support broker‑facing events, communications and trade activities.
- Strengthen the marketing–sales partnership and contribute to broker‑focused PR where required.
Reporting & Budget
- Report campaign and event performance to key stakeholders.
- Maintain strong financial discipline across all marketing activity.
Your experience
- Minimum of 5+ years in marketing. We are considering a range of seniority levels so please apply if this role appeals
- Proven background in financial services marketing, ideally mortgage or lending
- Ideally suited for someone with fintech or start-up experience
- Demonstrated B2B2C experience (broker/intermediary + consumer)
- Experience owning GTM strategy end‑to‑end
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and junior team members
- Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
