We’re expanding our Modern Work practice and are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer capable of owning end-to-end Microsoft 365 solution design, governance, automation, and delivery across SharePoint, Power Platform, and Purview.
This is a role for someone who is consultant-level, not admin-level. You’ll lead workshops, architect tenant-wide governance models, solve multi-site organisational challenges, and deliver modern, secure, compliant M365 environments at enterprise scale.
The Work You’ll Lead
You will be trusted to independently scope, design, govern and deliver:
Modern Work & Collaboration SharePoint Online
- IA, site collections, enterprise content structures and metadata
- Teams governance, lifecycle policies, archival strategies and automation
- Complex migration programs (SP On-Prem, file shares, legacy systems)
Security, Risk & Compliance (Purview)
- Design and configure DLP, Information Protection, sensitivity labels, retention, and Records Management Analyse and remediate compliance gaps across security, data lifecycle and user behaviour
- Build defensible governance and audit frameworks
Automation & Power Platform
- Solutionise and build Power Automate workflows, Power Apps solutions, connectors, and governance models
- Centre of Excellence oversight, environment strategy, and guardrails
Consulting & Delivery Leadership
- Lead client workshops, assessments, blueprints, and roadmap sessions
- Produce HLDs, LLDs, SOWs, migration plans, and As-Built documentation
- Support presales with effort estimates, solution shaping, and BOM validation
- Drive projects to completion with clear milestones, scope control and stakeholder management
What You Bring
We want someone who can walk into a room of CIOs, PMs, and technical teams and own the solution.
Essential:
- 10+ years working with Microsoft technology stacks
- 5+ years in consulting, professional services, or managed services
- Deep experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Purview
- Solid understanding of CSP, tenant governance, identity, and licensing
- Comfortable running client workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and technical discovery
- Demonstrated ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, SOWs and As-Built documentation
- Hands-on experience with AvePoint (migration, governance, policy enforcement)
- Ability to manage multiple engagements with high autonomy
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar
- Microsoft certifications highly regarded (Power Platform, Security, Modern Work)
Bonus:
- Experience designing Modern Work governance frameworks from scratch
- Experience in complex enterprise migrations (multi-tenant or high-security environments)
