We’re partnering with Metro Housing, a respected and values-driven community housing provider, to find a highly capable and commercially astute Executive Assistant. This is not your traditional diary-and-inbox role-— this is an opportunity to step into a trusted partnership position, working closely with senior leadership to support the organisation’s impact and growth.
About the role
In this pivotal role, you’ll act as a right-hand to the CEO – we need someone who anticipates needs, thinks ahead, and understands how the business operates.
You’ll bring structure, insight and efficiency to day-to-day operations, while also contributing to broader organisational outcomes. From drafting communications to supporting key projects and stakeholder engagement, you’ll be a central connector across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive support with a proactive, forward-thinking approach
- Act as a business partner to leadership – anticipating needs and identifying opportunities to improve workflow and outcomes
- Draft professional correspondence, reports and internal/external communications
- Support coordination of projects, meetings and organisational priorities
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with governance, documentation and business operations as required
- Bring structure and organisation to a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
About you
You’re not just organised – you’re commercially aware, intuitive and confident operating at a senior level.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar senior support role
- Strong understanding of how organisations operate, ideally within housing, social housing or property management
- Highly developed written communication skills, with the ability to draft polished, professional documents
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – you build trust quickly and communicate with ease
- Business savvy, with the ability to think ahead and problem-solve proactively
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
