BJC Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Accredited Exercise Physiologist to step into a Team Manager role during a 12-month parental leave period.
This role is ideal for an EP with strong clinical experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership, mentoring, and service development within a respected multidisciplinary healthcare organisation.

About the role
This 12-month parental leave contract offers the opportunity to step into an established EP Team Manager role, combining clinical work with leadership and team support. You will be well supported by senior leadership and will step into clearly defined systems, processes, and an engaged Exercise Physiology team across multiple clinic locations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering high-quality Exercise Physiology services to a varied caseload, with a strong focus on rheumatic and chronic conditions
• Providing day-to-day support, mentoring and guidance to EP team members
• Contributing to clinical standards, service quality, and consistency across sites
• Supporting student supervision and professional development within the team
• Collaborating with senior management on operational and clinical initiatives
• Contributing positively to team culture and upholding BJC Health’s values
About you
This role would suit an EP who enjoys clinical work and is ready to broaden their scope into leadership.
You will bring:
• A minimum of 4–5 years clinical experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
• ESSA accreditation and membership
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine interest in mentoring, leadership and supporting clinician development
• Confidence working within a multidisciplinary team
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Desirable but not essential:
• Experience mentoring students
• Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory or management role
