BJC Health is seeking an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist to step into a Team Leader role within our Exercise Physiology team. About the role
You will step into an established Team Leader position, combining a clinical caseload with responsibility for leading and supporting a team of Exercise Physiologists.
This role is suited to an EP who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop leadership capability within a well-supported environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality Exercise Physiology services to a varied caseload, with a focus on rheumatic and chronic conditions
- Leading and supporting a team of Exercise Physiologists across multiple clinic locations (Parramatta, Chatswood and Bondi Junction)
- Mentoring clinicians and contributing to their professional development
- Supporting clinical standards, consistency and service quality across the team
- Contributing to team performance, service development and operational initiatives
- Supervising students and supporting the next generation of clinicians
- Working closely with senior leadership within a structured and supportive framework
- You will be supported by experienced leaders and step into established systems and processes, allowing you to focus on developing your leadership skills while maintaining strong clinical work.
About you
This role would suit an EP who enjoys clinical work and is motivated to step into a leadership position.
You will bring:
- A minimum of 3 years clinical experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- ESSA accreditation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in mentoring, leadership and clinician development
- Confidence working within a multidisciplinary team
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Desirable:
- Experience mentoring students
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
