About the opportunity

We are seeking full time casual employees to work in our Bush Regeneration team, supporting clients on projects in various locations around the Northern Rivers NSW region.

We will provide you with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true passion for Land Management.

Key Responsibilities:

You will assist in various aspects of land conservation including:

  • Weed control
  • Planting
  • Equipment maintenance

These roles are always in the field therefore you must be happy to work in a variety of weather conditions.

We will provide you with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your passion for Land Management. 

What you’ll bring:

  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Open/unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Map-reading skills
  • Own reliable vehicle or ability to get to sites
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • A good attitude to workplace health and safety
  • Be physically fit and able to undertake labour intensive work
  • Experience in vegetation, land or weed management
  • Cert I or II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
  • Experience/ interest in identification of species both native and weeds
  • Relevant tickets or experience with the operation and maintenance of equipment such as chainsaws and brush-cutters
