An opportunity now exists for an experienced Key Account Manager – Formwork / Civil to join our team based at Meadowbrook, Queensland.

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for managing and growing strategic customer accounts within the commercial and civil formwork sector across South East Queensland. You will develop strong partnerships with civil contractors, commercial builders, and formwork subcontractors, ensuring Big River Group remains a preferred supplier across key projects. Working closely with internal sales, operations, and manufacturing teams, you will focus on account development, project pipeline management, and delivering commercial outcomes across major infrastructure and construction projects.

Your Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key commercial and civil construction accounts
  • Develop long-term relationships with contractors, builders, and formwork specialists
  • Identify project opportunities across infrastructure, civil, and commercial developments
  • Coordinate tenders, quotations, and project supply solutions Work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure seamless order delivery
  • Maintain visibility of market activity, project pipelines, and competitor positioning
  • Deliver revenue growth through strategic account development and customer engagement
  • Provide guidance on formwork systems and product applications where required

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in key account management, business development, or technical sales within construction
  • Strong knowledge of formwork systems, civil construction, or commercial building markets
  • Established industry relationships with civil contractors, builders, or subcontractors (highly regarded)
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
  • Ability to manage project pipelines and long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Experience using CRM systems or sales tracking tools (preferred)
