The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Internal Sales professional to join our team at Big River Group – Burleigh Heads. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer service and providing seamless sales and administrative support to customers across the region.

Your Role

As an Internal Sales, you will play a key role in supporting customers and the external sales team by:

  • Processing inbound sales orders via phone, email and over the counter
  • Assisting Account Managers with order entry, customer follow-up and coordination
  • Responding to customer enquiries with timely and accurate information
  • Maintaining sales and customer records within company systems
  • Preparing reports, quotes and updating customer databases
  • Coordinating warranty claims and liaising with internal teams
  • Supporting showroom displays, brochures and sales materials as required

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in internal sales, administration or customer service
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management capability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative team-focused approach, with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of the timber or building products industry (advantageous)
  • Understanding of WHS practices (valued)
