About the role

Big Red Group (BRG) is at the forefront of redefining experiences through technology. We are evolving into a platform-focused business, uniting our Engineering, Product, Data & Martech, and Infrastructure teams to drive customer value and growth.

As Senior Product Designer you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our products and platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves solving complex problems, designing high-quality user experiences, and helping teams move faster through strong systems and patterns.

You’ll lead design decisions across multiple products, champion and evolve our design system as a shared platform. You’ll report directly to our Product Lead while partnering cross functionally with engineering, operations, customer experience and other stakeholder. You’ll also spend a significant amount of time designing, prototyping, and shipping work yourself.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead product and experience design

  • Lead end-to-end design across discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration
  • Design intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences across web and digital products
  • Set and communicate high bar for UX and UI quality, ensuring consistency and clarity across the product
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape UX strategy and execution
  • Help shape design ways of working, standards, and best practices

Design craft

  • Research, understand, and advocate for all user needs in all stages of product development.
  • Own, champion and evolve the design system as a shared platform
  • Create and refine components, patterns, and guidelines that support scale and speed
  • Drive adoption of the system across teams while balancing pragmatism with long-term integrity

Stay hands-on

  • Design flows, interfaces, and prototypes using modern design tools
  • Contribute to or lead user research such as usability testing and concept validation
  • Turn insights into clear design direction and shipped outcomes

What we’re looking for

  • Experience: At least 6 years’ experience as a UX or Product Designer, designing across desktop web, mobile web, and native app experiences
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience mentoring and guiding designers, with at least 2 years in a design leadership or lead-by-influence role
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing work on complex systems, multi-channel user journeys, and products with intricate object or data relationships
  • Design and UX skills: Deep knowledge of UX methods including generative research, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing. Strong system-level thinking with the ability to design scalable, reusable patterns
  • Communication: Clear and confident communicator, able to articulate design decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Delivery and execution: Proven ability to manage design work end-to-end and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in ambiguous problem spaces, particularly within startup or scale-up environments

If you’re motivated by the chance to help shape the future of travel and tourism and can show clear product thinking through thoughtful UI and UX work, we’d love to hear from you! (Bonus is you have experience in e-commerce or adjacent industries)

A portfolio link is required as part of your application. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.
