Analyst – Finance Data & Transformation

Description

This role supports the delivery of finance transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, data quality, and reporting across the Finance function. Working closely with Finance, Data Transformation, and Engineering teams, you will contribute to system enhancements, automation initiatives, and reporting improvements.

Alongside transformation work, you will provide hands-on support during month-end and reporting cycles, giving you exposure to both finance operations and modern finance systems. This is an opportunity to develop capability across finance, data, and systems in a fast-evolving environment.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of automation and process improvement initiatives across finance operations
  • Assist in improving data quality, structure, and consistency across finance reporting
  • Support administration and optimisation of finance systems (e.g. NetSuite, Calumo, Concur)
  • Participate in user testing (UAT), issue resolution, and documentation for system changes
  • Contribute to finance controls, documentation, and process standardisation
  • Provide support during month-end and quarter-end close, including journals and reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of reporting packs and supporting schedules
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify trends and support decision-making


Key skills and experience

Must-haves:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of finance processes (month-end, reconciliations, reporting).
  • Experience working with ERP or finance systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Ability to work across finance and technology stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Exposure to finance transformation or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with automation tools or workflows.
  • Experience in financial services or professional services.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Calumo or Concur.
