Your Next Career Move
We’re on the lookout for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team. If you love numbers, have an eye for detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment then this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparation of financial reports including trial balance and statements of financial performance and position
- Preparation of work papers and files
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Analysis of financial statements and provision of explanations of key matters
- Preparation and finalisation of tax returns and BAS
- Business support services including payroll, payment processing and maintaining corporate registers and records
- Providing assistance to senior accounting staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles & practices
- Proficiency in Xero and XPM
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently & collaboratively
- A keen eye for detail & accuracy
- Currently completing or interest in completing your CA
