About the role
As a result of growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Tax Lawyer or Associate to join our high performing, friendly and innovative Private Clients team.
While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office, at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely. Bartier Perry offers structured career progression for those who want it, within a warm, friendly and supportive environment.
Our firm has one of the most highly regarded Private Client practices in Sydney, with an enviable list of clients who seek assistance with legal matters involving taxation, superannuation, business succession, estate planning, asset structuring and deceased estates.
About you
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 3 or 4 years PQE working in a law firm or an accounting firm
- Experience in tax advisory (state and federal taxes) or tax disputes,
- Prior experience or a strong interest in trusts, estate planning and SMSF’s will be highly regarded
- Excellent academic record
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical, research and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Undertaking or committed to undertaking further study in tax
