About the Opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity exists for a dynamic and passionate Business Development Coordinator to join the Business Development team within our firm. This is a full time role ideal for someone with a minimum of 2 years business development experience in a professional services setting who enjoys working as a part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Development Coordinator’s initiatives will aid client retention, build client relationships and establish new business. Day-to-day the role will include:

  • Liaising with partners, practice group members and client teams on BD initiatives at both a tactical and strategic level;
  • Researching, analysing and interpreting data from various sources to assist in developing client strategy and identifying potential markets and new leads;
  • Project managing pursuits which includes proposals, RFQs, RFTs, Capability statements, budgets and reports;
  • Working with the team to ensure consistency and accuracy of new business and pipeline information;
  • Social media campaign management to generate leads and identify potential new clients;
  • Organising and implementing client relationship and profile building activities; and
  • Working alongside marketing to plan and develop initiatives, manage activities, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively alongside other team members in the marketing and business development team to achieve the firm’s growth ambition.

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Between 2 and 5 years’ experience in a broad business development position with a strong BD and client focus;
  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with an ability to effectively prioritise tasks;
  • The initiative to grow and develop the role as well as your own skills and knowledge; and
  • Curiosity as to how the business is managed and generates sustainable, profitable growth.
