About the role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 12
month fixed term contract to support the firm’s transformation initiatives and
ongoing business improvements. This role is focused on embedding within teams,
developing a deep understanding of business processes, and identifying
opportunities to improve how work is performed.
While this
role is based in our Sydney CBD office, at Bartier Perry we all have the

About the team
The role will report to our Development Team Lead. The
Business Analyst will work closely with practice groups and business services
teams, becoming a trusted partner who can quickly understand challenges,
document requirements, and help shape practical, effective solutions.
This role focuses on business analysis, stakeholder
engagement, and continuous improvement and would suit an experienced Business
Analyst who works autonomously, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and is
passionate about improving business processes.
About you
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- 5+
years’ experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent
- Strong
stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to embed within business teams
- Proven
experience analysing, documenting, and improving business processes
- Ability
to capture clear, structured requirements and translate business needs into
functional or technical outcomes
- Strong
facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience
working across both project-based and BAU environments
- Exposure
to transformation, automation, or workflow initiatives
- Experience
in legal or professional services and/or working with external vendors and
enterprise systems (e.g. document or practice management)
