Join our talented hospitality team at Banksia Lodge! We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable team members to join our café and kitchen services team across two separate roles – Cafe Attendant and Kitchen Hand

Roles available –

Café Attendant – Part Time and casual

This is a chance to bring joy to residents, create a welcoming space for families and visitors, and be part of a caring team that values respect, empathy, and community. As a Café Attendant you’ll help run a café service that mirrors the standards of a contemporary community café, while catering to the unique needs of residents in aged care.

Kitchen Hand – Part time and casual

In the role of a casual Kitchen Hand, you will provide assistance to the Chef in preparing and serving well presented meals, in a safe and compliant manner, and that will delight and exceed the expectations of our residents.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

• Relevant experience in the hospitality industry

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a busy café or kitchen

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• A genuine respect and empathy for older people
