About The Role

Southern Ocean Lodge is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences in one of Australia’s most iconic luxury lodge settings.

This hands-on role is essential to the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, organisation and efficiency while supporting chefs during service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils and equipment
• Assisting with basic food preparation as required
• Ensuring kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are upheld
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with lodge practices
• Supporting the kitchen team with general duties during service
• Keeping work areas organised and well stocked

About The You

You are reliable, hardworking and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in maintaining high standards and supporting others to deliver exceptional results.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role (preferred but not essential)
• A strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standard
• Ability to work efficiently and follow direction
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
