      Quantum-Systems is at the forefront of autonomous, AI-powered aerial robotics globally. Our Australian subsidiary, Quantum-Systems Australia, operates in the Defence, Security, and Commercial markets, specialising in Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAS) in the Asia-Pacific region.

      Summary:

      The Technical Support Specialist position provides expert assistance to clients, resolving Drone/Systems issues through effective communication and troubleshooting. It involves handling inquiries, diagnosing faults, and supporting defect rectification for pilots and other users. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations while enhancing customer satisfaction.

      Responsibilities:

    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions regarding Quantum-Systems products and services. 
    • Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to assist customers with technical issues.
    • Maintain positive client relationships by ensuring timely follow-ups and status updates on reported issues.
    • Document customer interactions and solutions provided to ensure a knowledge base for future reference. 
    • Support clients in troubleshooting and identifying potential defects or malfunctions in products. 
    • Assist in testing and validation of product updates, ensuring customer-reported issues are adequately addressed.
    • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including manuals, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides. 
    • Investigate recurring issues to identify underlying causes and recommend long term solutions.
    • Qualifications & Experience:

      Tertiary qualifications in Aviation Maintenance or related field, or substantial relevant experience in providing technical support to aviation customers.

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within the commercial sector.
    • Australian Citizenship and ability to hold a Security Clearance.
    • Hold a current passport with the ability to travel interstate/overseas when required.
    • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving ability.
    • Note: A Defence security clearance is required for this role, so your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this position.
