Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead Smokeball’s billing roadmap, delivering seamless, scalable, and accurate billing solutions. You’ll translate product needs into clear technical scopes and drive releases with precision. Using your strong technical skills and sharp eye for detail to bridge business priorities with engineering delivery.

Your background may be in billing platforms, products with billing components, or billing providers. You may have grown from a Product Owner into Product Management, building a strong reputation for turning strategy and vision into impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the billing roadmap, aligning business priorities with client needs

• Collaborate with engineering and design to translate product requirements into clear, actionable solutions

• Maintain strong stakeholder communication, ensuring visibility and alignment throughout the product lifecycle

• Partner with go-to-market teams to support positioning, adoption, and customer education.

• Drive the delivery of high-quality releases, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless client experience

• Champion the voice of the customer by deeply understanding user pain points, market trends, and regulatory changes.

• Measure product success, leverage data to inform decisions, and work iteratively to enhance value.

About You

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product management, with a preference for backgrounds in payment or billing systems within a SaaS environment.

• Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical solutions

• Highly detail-oriented, ensuring precision in scoping, requirements, and delivery

• Comfortable collaborating across business and technical teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to guide decisions and measure success

• Skilled at translating strategy and vision into actionable plans, driving the team to deliver meaningful outcomes
