An excellent opportunity is available for a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing operations team based in Wetherill Park.

This entry-level traineeship is ideal for someone looking to build a career in warehousing, logistics and branch operations. You will gain hands-on experience across all areas of the business while working towards a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, with the opportunity to obtain a forklift licence.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both warehouse operations and front-of-house branch activities, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

 

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on position combining warehouse responsibilities with branch and customer support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
  • Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
  • Maintaining accurate inventory control and stock organisation
  • Assisting with stock counts and stock rotation
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Supporting delivery coordination and assisting drivers
  • Serving customers at the trade counter with a professional approach
  • Processing sales orders and handling customer enquiries (phone & email)
  • Supporting the sales team with order processing and follow-ups
  • Assisting with general branch presentation and organisation
  • Learning to mix paint and support product-related enquiries
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and safely

 

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who enjoys hands-on work, interacting with customers and being part of a team.

You will have:

  • Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to support both warehouse and branch functions
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence with a clean record
  • Awareness of WH&S practices
  • An interest in the automotive industry

 

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Forklift licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Previous warehouse, retail or customer service experience
