With 150 staff and offices in 21 countries, we partner with people and organisations to share skills, knowledge and experience — working toward a peaceful, sustainable and just world.

As P&C Coordinator, you will play a key role across the whole P&C function supporting a collaborative, supportive team and making a real impact every day. You’ll be the engine behind our HR operations — keeping our systems accurate, our recruitment running smoothly, and channelling requests for support to the right places. In this role, you won’t just be keeping things ticking, you’ll gain hands-on exposure across 21 countries, work closely with a truly amazing global team, and build a strong foundation in P&C within a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Process Orientation (with flexibility). Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment, following defined procedures and escalating matters appropriately – and also flexible when processes may be changing.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee information with care and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Service Mindset. A proactive and service-oriented approach, with the ability to identify and flag issues or process gaps to the team.
  • Values Alignment. Sound understanding of and commitment to AVI’s Mission, Values and Corporate Objectives, and to EEO, child protection, workplace health & safety and privacy principles.

To do this role well, you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in and positively contribute to a People & Culture or HR team
  • Sound understanding of HR administrative processes, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and employee record management
  • Experience processing HR transactions accurately and within defined timelines, including compliance tasks, correspondence and data entry
  • Experience managing shared inboxes or helpdesk queues, including prioritisation and appropriate routing of enquiries
  • Experience working with HR information systems, including data entry, user support and basic troubleshooting (Employment Hero experience desirable)
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools such as SharePoint
  • Experience working in an international NGO, not-for-profit or similarly complex organisation (desirable)

Qualifications are a bonus but not a must:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (desirable)
  • Progression toward or completion of a relevant HR qualification or professional membership (desirable)

In return, you will:

  • Join a long-standing not-for-profit organisation with a rich history and a team of passionate individuals
  • Have a flexible arrangement for remote work
  • Be offered a competitive remuneration package (local salary range) with medical insurance
