Industry Engagement Adviser – Resources

Who You Are 

You’re relationship-focused, curious, and commercially aware. You enjoy engaging with industry, asking the right questions, and turning insights into meaningful input that supports decision-making and outcomes. 

You’ll bring: 

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in stakeholder engagement, industry engagement, or business development within the resources/mining sector (or a closely related industry) 
• A strong understanding of the mining/resources operating environment and workforce challenges  
• Knowledge and understanding of Australia’s VET system and the Australian Qualifications Framework  
• The ability to manage complex stakeholder dynamics and balance competing priorities  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills  
• Experience contributing to projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders  
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications  

Even Better If You Also Have 

• Direct experience within the Australian mining or resources sector  
• Exposure to workforce development, training product development, or VET reform  
• Experience working in a national or multi-state environment  
• Experience supporting advisory groups or industry forums
