Australian Mentoring Services (AMS) is growing in Wollongong, and we’re looking for a confident, capable SIL Practice Leader with strong experience supporting participants with complex Autism (ASD) and psychosocial disability.

The Opportunity

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Supported Independent Living homes, ensuring safe, consistent, and high-quality support for participants with complex behavioural and psychosocial presentations.

You’ll:

  • Lead and develop mentors across multiple homes
  • Implement and review behaviour support strategies
  • Drive compliance with NDIS Practice Standards
  • Work closely with families, clinicians, and stakeholders
  • Champion a strong, accountable, positive team culture

What You Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in SIL or complex NDIS settings
  • Strong background supporting complex ASD & psychosocial disability
  • Leadership experience supervising and developing teams
  • Solid knowledge of behaviour support frameworks
  • Cert IV or higher in Disability, Mental Health or Community Services
  • Driver’s licence and ability to travel locally
