Are you a passionate, values-driven leader with experience supporting people with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and psychosocial disability? Australian Mentoring Services (AMS) is looking for a SIL Practice Leader to guide and inspire our support teams across our SIL homes in the Shire, helping participants live fulfilling, independent lives.

About the Role

As SIL Practice Leader, you will oversee day-to-day operations across our SIL services, ensuring participants receive tailored, evidence-based support. You will mentor and develop support staff, implement behaviour support strategies, and collaborate with participants, families, clinicians, and stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support teams across multiple SIL sites
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high-quality care
  • Implement and monitor behaviour support and individualised plans
  • Build strong relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and legislative requirements
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team culture that reflects AMS values

About You:

  • Cert IV (or higher) in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in SIL or complex NDIS environments
  • Demonstrated experience with participants with complex ASD and psychosocial needs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and Behaviour Support frameworks
  • Driver’s licence with the ability to travel across sites
