Forklift Operator

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team in Murray Downs, New South Wales. This temporary, casual role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safety standards while operating forklifts and supervising small teams, contributing to our commitment to high-quality production and logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials and products.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a high standard of safety in the workplace.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to management.
• Accurately document all movements of goods and maintain inventory records.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating forklifts in warehouse and logistics environments.
• Experience loading, unloading, sorting, and staging freight and cargo.
• Forklift operation and maintenance (LF class licence).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks and documentation.
• High safety focus and adherence to safety protocols.
