About the Role
As a Member Services Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members, helping to create seamless, positive experiences while supporting events, programs, and campaigns that connect and grow our technology community. This role is initially fixed term for 12 months, with the opportunity to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for ACS members in Queensland, providing responsive, professional support and building strong, lasting relationships.
- Drive membership engagement through campaigns, direct outreach, and opportunities to upsell or cross-sell ACS products and services.
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality events, ensuring smooth operations, positive experiences, and strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate member records, contacts, and opportunities using Salesforce and branch databases, ensuring data integrity and usability.
- Collaborate with internal teams, industry partners, and community stakeholders to enhance member experiences and promote ACS as Queensland’s trusted tech authority.
- Anticipate challenges and opportunities, providing informed recommendations to support membership and event goals while adhering to governance and compliance standards.

What You Bring
Qualifications
- TAFE or university qualifications in business, communications, marketing, or related fields – or equivalent practical experience.
Work Experience
- Proven experience in customer service, member services, or administration in customer-facing environments (retail, hospitality, or corporate office).
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and event coordination highly regarded.
- Exposure to technology sector or branch operations is a plus.
Skills
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset with confidence to take initiative.
- Competent in Microsoft Office; familiarity with event management systems and basic financial tracking is advantageous.
- Collaborative team player who embodies ACS values and promotes positive member experiences.
