About the Role

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of camp facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for all personnel on site.

We are seeking a reliable and multi skilled Handyperson to join our team at a remote camp. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining facilities to a high standard and enjoys working in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across accommodation rooms and common areas
• Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical maintenance tasks
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop in good working order
• Adhere to all site safety policies and procedures

About You

• Proven experience in a similar handyperson, maintenance, or trades assistant role
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
