AUB Group is currently on the lookout for a Senior Analyst to be based in our North Sydney office on a full-time permanent and hybrid basis.
AUB Group Limited is an ASX200 listed group comprising insurance brokers and underwriting agencies operating in around 520 locations across Australia and New Zealand. We work with approximately 900,000 clients to place more than $4.4bn + GWP in insurance premiums with local and foreign insurers.
The primary function of the Senior Analyst FP&A role is to provide support to the FP&A Manager and Group Head of FP&A, with responsibilities including:
- Monthly reporting for Corporate Expenses, including analysis of key variances vs latest forecast, budget and prior year across income and expenses.
- Bottom-up annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting of Corporate Head Office costs.
- Business partnering with corporate head office functions, SURA Specialty & Strata agency and back-office support heads to build out the quarterly reforecast and annual budget setting process.
- Upload and reconciliation of General Commercial entity monthly trial balances and quarterly forecasts/annual budgets into our Adaptive Insights (AI) planning and forecasting system.
- Providing support for half year and year end on the AUB Group Investor Presentation
The role has interaction with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and requires an ability to develop and build relationships and requires strong communication skills with superior attention to detail.
In order to be successful in the role, the applicant would have the following attributes:
- CA/CPA (or in progress).
- Advanced knowledge of excel.
- General Ledger/ERP/Database management.
- Reporting/Planning Tools.
- Able to work and participate in a busy team environment.
- Passion for problem solving & analytical mindset.
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000 plus superannuation dependent on experience.
