As a key member of our Conferences team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic marketing initiatives that inspire, engage and drive impact across our global community of members, partners and stakeholders.
About the Role
As the Marketing Manager for Events, you will:
- Design, develop and implement marketing strategies for globally recognised conferences and events.
- Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver exceptional experiences across digital, email and social platforms ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated marketing communications campaigns that align with organisational goals.
- Analyse performance metrics and gain insights to refine strategies and maximise campaign effectiveness.
- Provide innovative thinking for marketing campaigns.
- Stay ahead of industry trends positioning AusIMM as a leading peak body.
About You
You are a strategic thinker, but can also think outside the box, with a proven ability to create and execute impactful marketing campaigns. Combining creative flair with meticulous planning, you craft content that captivates and engages audiences. Your success is driven by a commitment to using market knowledge, as well as data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve outstanding results.
With exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, you excel at managing competing priorities and fostering a collaborative environment. You lead by example, supporting your team while building strong, productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and experience:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing or communications.
- Event Marketing Experience
- Expertise in strategic marketing planning and execution for brand campaigns.
- High proficiency in content curation and use of digital marketing tools such as CRM, CMS, email marketing and social media platforms, and analytics software.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver on time and within budget.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging with media outlets and 3rd party suppliers (desired)
