Educonomy is an organisation that works closely with Audit Express. It is under the same management and control.
Educonomy is a specialist advisory firm that helps education providers meet the needs of tomorrow. We combine strategy, teaching methodology and edtech to help VET, higher education and workplace providers integrate digital solutions that deliver high-quality learning around the usual constraints of time, place or delivery mode.
We are establishing a panel of experienced contractors who can support our Learning Design team on an as-needed, project-by-project basis. We are keen to hear from people with proven experience in:
Instructional Design / Senior Instructional Design – scoping and designing learning solutions, mapping content to outcomes and standards, creating engaging learning activities and assessment, working with subject matter experts, and visualising the final learner experience.
Content Writing / Learning Content Development – drafting and refining clear, accurate and learner-friendly content from briefs and source documents, including explainer text, case studies, scenarios, assessment items, guides and support materials.
Digital Learning / eLearning Development – building interactive, SCORM-compliant online learning using tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise and related platforms, and helping to digitise and adapt existing resources for online, blended and micro-credential delivery.
Proficiency with any industry-standard authoring tool is required for eLearning development roles.
Candidates are welcome to apply for multiple specialisations based on their experience and expertise.
Panel members may be engaged to:
Design and document learning solutions and storyboards
Develop and quality-check learning and assessment resources
Adapt and contextualise existing courses and materials
Create supporting media and activities that enhance learner engagement
Work collaboratively with Educonomy staff, clients, trainers and industry experts to deliver projects to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
This arrangement will suit experienced freelancers and consultants who are comfortable working remotely, managing multiple deadlines, and producing work that is methodical, accurate and aligned with contemporary instructional design practice. Experience in VET, higher education or professional learning, and familiarity with Australian standards and frameworks, will be highly regarded.
Work authorisation requirements will be assessed on a case-by-case basis for each contractor engagement.
To express your interest, please submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your areas of expertise, sectors you have worked in, the tools you are confident using (for example Storyline, Rise, Thinkific) and 1–3 examples or summaries of relevant projects you have contributed to.
