About the role

As we continue to expand, we are on the hunt for a Truck Driver to join our team working out of our Brooklyn yard.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely loading and driving trucks with adherence to road rules and regulations and any site-specific requirements.
- Managing time and prioritising based on urgency of work.
- General truck and plant operation as required for our yard and construction site operations.
- Combination of little tip trucks, truck and dog, semi trailer and float work and hook trucks (with majority of our work being with hook trucks)
- Maintaining the yard environment and company assets – general cleaning and yard duties.
- Loading and unloading – yard and project
- Machine/equipment and supplies deliveries (mobe and demobe of machines from projects etc.) to project sites
- Supporting projects as required
- Interstate travel would be required ad hoc and as business needs
About You:
This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:
- HC (heavy combo truck) License
- Hook Truck Experience
- Experience/ticket in heavy machinery (up to 30T excavator)
- Forklift license
- Construction white card
- Experience with Scania/Volvo/Isuzu trucks
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving
- Experience in float and loading trucks, with a strong understanding of correct load restraints and axle weights.
- Hook truck, semi, truck and dog experience is highly desirable.
- Machine tickets i.e., forklift ticket, excavator, dump truck, roller highly desirable but not a requirement.
