WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant with 1–3 years’ experience in cyber security, information security, or a related ICT role. You are interested in consulting, enjoy solving complex security problems, and are comfortable working across multiple client engagements with guidance from senior consultants. You are keen to continue developing your technical and consulting skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will contribute to cyber security engagements for clients across the financial, retail, and public sectors. Your work will include:

• Supporting security reviews and assessments, including identification of risks and control gaps.
• Assisting with security design and architecture reviews under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Contributing to cyber strategy and operational process guidance.
• Supporting security technology implementation, maintenance, and operation for clients.
• Assisting with cyber maturity assessments using frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Supporting third-party and supplier security assessments, including evidence review and reporting.
• Assisting with analysis of the cyber threat landscape to support client recommendations.
• Preparing client reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Participating in client meetings and internal delivery discussions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 1–3 years’ experience in cyber security, information security, or a related ICT role.
• A strong interest in cyber security consulting.
• Working knowledge of cyber security principles, risks, and controls.
• Exposure to security assessments, risk reviews, vulnerability management, or third-party risk.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF.
• Comfort learning and working with new technologies and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Willingness to take direction and work under supervision while developing professional judgement.

• Salary of $80,000 – $90,000 per annum + super, depending on skills and experience
