Salary: $85k-$95k + super + salary packaging.

About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Education Operations Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of ASHM’s education programs across Australia and New Zealand. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing education operations within the National Policy and Education Division (NPED), with a strong focus on people leadership, system improvement, and scalable delivery. You will lead the Project Administrator team, ensure high-quality and consistent course delivery, and work across teams to strengthen systems, processes, and compliance frameworks that support ASHM’s education programs. This role suits someone who enjoys building structure, improving workflows, and leading teams to deliver impactful, high-quality education at scale.

You value consistency and efficiency, and enjoy building templates, standard operating procedures, and scalable processes that make work easier for others. You take pride in creating clear, repeatable ways of working that support high-quality, consistent delivery across teams.
You bring a diverse background and a breadth of experience, which may include education delivery, training, program coordination, or operational roles. You are able to draw on this experience to
approach challenges from multiple angles and contribute to a collaborative, adaptable team environment. You are a strong communicator who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you take ownership of your work while supporting those around you.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience leading or coordinating teams, with a focus on supporting staff capability, consistency, and performance
- Has strong experience managing or improving education delivery, program operations, or similar complex workflows
- Is confident overseeing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Has experience working with digital platforms such as CRM, LMS, SharePoint, or similar systems
- Can design, improve, and scale workflows, systems, and processes to support efficient delivery
- Has experience contributing to or leading digital projects, including system improvements or implementations
- Is comfortable working cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders, including non-technical and
technical teams
- Has a strong understanding of compliance, quality assurance, or accreditation processes (desirable)
- Communicates clearly and can translate operational needs into practical, structured solutions
- Demonstrates ownership, initiative, and accountability, with a focus on continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of ASHM’s education programs across NPED and other divisions, ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning through to post-course follow-up
- Oversee end-to-end course delivery, including scheduling, facilitation support, and post-course processes, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience across all formats (online, virtual, and
face-to-face)
- Lead and support the Project Administrator team, including coordinating workloads, providing guidance, and building capability to ensure consistent delivery across programs
- Act as the key escalation point for complex or high-risk delivery issues, supporting teams to troubleshoot and resolve challenges effectively
- Strengthen and continuously improve ASHM’s Course Oversight, CPD, and endorsement processes to ensure compliance with relevant bodies (e.g. RACGP, ACRRM, APNA)
- Oversee attendance tracking, evaluation, collection, and reporting processes, ensuring all requirements are met accurately and on time
- Provide clear guidance and training to staff on accreditation, endorsement, and compliance requirements
- Improve and streamline systems and workflows across CRM, LMS, SharePoint, and related platforms to support education delivery
- Work closely with Digital and IT teams to scope, test, and implement system improvements and integrations
- Lead digital projects and process improvements, ensuring changes are practical, scalable, and embedded into day-to-day operations
- Reduce manual workload by introducing automation, better tools, and more efficient ways of working
- Strengthen data collection, reporting, and evaluation processes to support program performance, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools, and use data insights to inform decision-making
- Develop and maintain templates, SOPs, and training resources that support consistent, high-quality delivery across teams
- Support onboarding and ongoing training of staff, ensuring teams are confident using systems and following processes
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise, and strengthen how we deliver education
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, public health, digital systems, IT,
or similar), or equivalent practical experience
- Min 3 years’ experience in a relevant role (e.g. education operations, program delivery, digital systems, or project coordination)
- Experience leading or coordinating teams, including supporting staff capability, training,
or workload management
- Strong experience managing or improving workflows, systems, or operational processes
- Experience working with digital platforms such as CRM, LMS, SharePoint, or similar systems
Experience contributing to or leading digital projects, including system improvements, implementations, or integrations
- Confidence working across teams and collaborating with a range of stakeholders, including
both technical and non-technical staff
- Ability to translate operational needs into practical systems, processes, or structured
ways of working
- Understanding of accreditation, CPD, compliance, or quality assurance processes (desirable)
- Experience in the health, not-for-profit, or education sectors (desirable)
