The Position:

We are on the lookout for a Contract Administrator who will support and deliver projects to the highest of quality, operate with integrity and will keep the needs of ASCOT GROUP and its’ clients in mind at all times. This is an opportunity for someone ready to step into a supportive environment who has 1 – 2 years of experience in CA position ready to learn and develop even more!

The main duties will involve:

  • Plan and Implement cost effective and quality refurbishment works
  • Plan and oversee trades to manage preventative and reactive works as require.
  • Complete site folders including all OH&S documentation for each project
  • Oversee the engagement of subcontractors in required trades and locations
  • Scheduling works
  • Ordering of materials for projects
  • Approving supplier invoices and invoicing clients
  • Approving timecards
  • Managing services to meet clients’ contracts and expectations
  • Conducting site visits for quality control checks

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working in the building and construction industry and in a similar role, preferably in the Retirement Living sector but not essential
  • Highly organised with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in systems including Microsoft Project and other Microsoft office applications including Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of a project lifecycle from start to completion
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication skills via phone and in person
  • Agile and can handle working under pressure and respond positively and proficiently with changing schedules/ project demands
  • Maintain a full Victorian (or recognised equivalent) Driver’s Licence
