Operator / All Rounder

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Operator Driver / All Rounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out driving operations using the Vac West Prime Mover and Liquid Tanker, and other prime mover/trailer combinations as required.

Additionally, the role is responsible for machine operating and contributing towards the maintenance and upkeep of the Vac West main office, workshop and site, and to support the efficient and effective operation of the facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Vac West Prime Mover and Tanker combination as required to service Client and company Controlled Waste Operations
• Machine Operating within the scope of licences held
• Carry out Yard and Workshop duties as required within the scope of your skills, training & experience

Qualifications:

• Current MC Drivers Licence
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
• Clean driving record
• Ability to operate and maintain a commercial truck
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical ability to load and unload cargo
