Night Shift Loader & Forklift Operator

Apex Building Products is looking for 2 reliable night shift workers to join our team in Traralgon!

MUST HAVE FORKLIFT LICENCE!

Responsibilities:

• Load roofing products onto our trucks in a timely, safe and efficient manner, including manual handling
• Operating our forklifts in a safe manner
• Verify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and dispatch dockets
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.
• Maintain an organised work area and adhere to safety protocols during loading operations
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth operations
• General warehouse duties as requested at times

Requirements:

• A strong understanding of OHS and warehouse safety requirements
• Current Forklift Licence
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• A positive attitude, with a proactive and safety-first mindset
• Previous experience in the Roofing or manufacturing industry is highly desirable
