Experienced Folder Operator

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator to join our manufacturing team in Geelong. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our folding machinery, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate folder machine to process steel coil into building products in accordance with customer specifications
• Operate machine to quality and safety standards
• Ensure all material is appropriately labelled
• Communicate directly with supervisor/manager regarding safety, quality or production issues
• Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner

Qualifications:

• Experience in operating a Slitter/Folder Machine, or similar machinery
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Building product knowledge or steel handling experience is desirable

Conditions & Benefits

• Full-time day shift permanent position 6am – 2pm with optional overtime
• Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week
