We’re looking for a skilled and versatile CNC Operator – Afternoon Shift who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. This role is perfect for someone with experience processing structural steel across multiple machines, rather than specialising in just one. Key Responsibilities

• Processing structural steel across various CNC machines (beamline, laser, and profile cutting).

• Loading and unloading materials safely using in-feed/out-feed tables, forklifts, and gantry cranes.

• Interpreting workshop drawings and NC files accurately to ensure quality output.

• Performing minor machine maintenance and tool changes.

• Conducting quality checks and maintaining full traceability of materials.

• Supporting a safe, organized, and efficient production environment.

• Manage changing priorities and adjust to a dynamic production schedule.

• Communicate effectively with Programmers, Operations, and Logistics teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience operating CNC machines and working across multiple production machines.

• Background in metal manufacturing or structural steel processing.

• Forklift licence; overhead gantry crane experience (highly desirable).

• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.
