Andi-Co Australia is a family-owned importer and distributor of premium European and soon to be US appliances for household and professional applications across Australia, since 1982.

Providing Australia with Falcon and AGA range cookers from the UK, custom made La Cornue range cookers from France and Liebherr refrigeration (residential and professional) from Germany, we provide top of the range appliances and service to our customers. And have new brands from Europe and the US launching soon.

Due to strong and on-going growth, we are currently seeking dedicated service technicians to join our in-house technical team. Whilst this role will provide regular hands-on service and repairs to our customers another part of the job will be providing support and training to our external service agent network, either over the phone or in person.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair cooker and refrigeration appliances
  • Liaise with customers regarding issues or malfunctions of their appliances
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot problems
  • Provide repair options, estimates and timeframes for customers, considering any product warranties
  • Provide guidance and training to external service agents
  • Provide over the phone and in-person support to external service agents
  • Work closely with our in-house technical support team
  • Liaise closely with our After Sales Support team

Requirements and Skills:

  • Electrical and/or Gas Fitting trade qualifications
  • Proven work experience as an Appliance Service Technician or similar role
  • Sufficient experience in and knowledge of appliance repair and servicing
  • Post-secondary training from a trade or vocational school preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Ability to explain and train others on appliance products
  • Passion for learning and training
  • Ability to travel regionally around NSW to visit customers and interstate for learning and training purposes
