Collections Officer

We’re looking for a Collections Analyst to help manage repayments, arrears, and collections activity across our lending portfolio. Sitting within Lending Operations, this role plays a key part in protecting portfolio performance, maintaining strong controls, and delivering positive customer outcomes.

You’ll analyse delinquent accounts, monitor payment activity, and support effective collections strategies—working closely with Payments, Credit Risk, Finance, Treasury, Hardship, and Technology teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and improve processes.

What you’ll do

• Monitor daily repayments, bank transactions, and reconciliations
• Investigate payment exceptions, failed transactions, and irregular activity
• Track arrears, delinquency trends, and customer payment behaviour
• Support collections workflows, early intervention, and hardship pathways
• Assist with post‑settlement loan servicing and issue resolution
• Prepare and analyse collections and payments reporting
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities
• Support system enhancements and operational change initiatives

What we’re looking for

• 2–5 years’ experience in lending operations, collections, payments, or financial services
• Experience with repayments processing, arrears monitoring, or collections
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with transaction and reconciliation data
• Experience with loan servicing or CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive with strong stakeholder skills
• Customer‑focused mindset aligned with responsible lending practices
