The Role
Reporting to the Clinch CEO, the Business Development Manager is responsible for growing the Clinch presence in the market and driving the origination of high-quality bridging loans.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, engage and manage relationships with mortgage brokers, financial advisors, real estate agents, accountants and other introducers.
- Educate intermediaries on our product, lending appetite and credit criteria.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to raise the profile of the business and generate new leads.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline, conversion rates, broker feedback and competitor activity.
- Work to achieve monthly and quarterly loan origination targets.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong “hunter” mentality with proven success in a BDM role within lending – ideally with a Non-Bank Home Loan lender.
- Strong broker and introducer network, with the ability to quickly open doors and generate deal flow.
- Commercially astute with an understanding of property transactions, serviceability, valuations and risk.
- A hunger to work in a high-performance, client-centric environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity and customer-centric mindset.
