What this role is all about

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in delivering high‑quality accounting and advisory services across a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with managers, directors, and our Business Advisory team to provide technical excellence, proactive insights, and a consistently exceptional client experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a portfolio of SME and high‑net‑wealth clients across multiple structures
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and compliance obligations
  • Providing proactive advice, insights, and recommendations to support client decision‑making
  • Supporting managers and directors with complex advisory work, structuring, and planning
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing coaching and feedback
  • Building strong client relationships through responsive, high‑quality service
  • Contributing to process improvement, workflow optimisation, and team capability development

What you’ll bring

  • 4–6+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
  • CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • Strong technical capability across compliance, tax, and SME advisory
  • Confidence managing client relationships and communicating complex concepts clearly
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to work autonomously
  • Interest in mentoring junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture
