What this role is all about

The Risk Client Services Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our Risk & Insurance Advisers to deliver a seamless, high‑quality client experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for client enquiries, help keep applications and underwriting moving smoothly, and ensure our advisers have the information and support they need to deliver exceptional outcomes.

You’ll work closely with an industry‑leading Senior Risk Adviser, gaining exposure to sophisticated advice strategies and the service expectations of high‑net‑wealth clients.

This role suits someone who is organised, service‑oriented, and enjoys being the steady, reliable backbone of a busy advisory team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing client enquiries and providing timely, professional support
  • Preparing documentation, forms, and information required for insurance applications
  • Coordinating underwriting requirements, medicals, and follow‑ups with insurers
  • Keeping clients updated throughout the application and implementation process
  • Maintaining accurate client records, data, and compliance documentation
  • Supporting advisers working with high‑net‑wealth individuals and families
  • Assisting with policy changes, renewals, and ongoing service requests
  • Contributing to process improvements that enhance client experience and team efficiency

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or a client service role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts
  • Clear, professional communication and a warm, client‑first approach
  • Confidence working with systems, data, and documentation
