Allied Credit is a leading and well-established finance partner in the vehicle and leisure asset industry, with strategic alliances incorporating well-known car and motorcycle brands. We offer a range of finance solutions including white label, joint venture arrangements and floor plan finance. Our proprietary loan origination system supports our dealers and distributors to facilitate seamless, convenient and customer focussed finance solutions for consumers and businesses.
Due to the continued evolution of our business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Test Analyst to join our Enterprise Solutions team to make a meaningful contribution to the quality assurance practice in the team.
You will be integral to the development of testing strategies across multiple platforms. You will manage the planning, monitoring and execution of all testing activities, showing passion for testing, curiosity and attention to detail. We have embarked on a process to move to automated testing, you can support us in our transition.
Responsibilities
- Review specifications as well as project and user documentation to develop and align testing requirements.
- Identify appropriate test strategies, prepare test plans and test cases, including regression suites that are reusable and demonstrate sound understanding of the platforms.
- Plan, monitor and coordinate testing activities consistent with the team’s sprint cycles.
- Support and coordinate the business users conducting User Acceptance Testing.
- Actively follow reported problems encountered in BAU through to resolution.
- Undertake manual test execution as directed by the Senior BA/QA Lead.
- Provide timely and fit-for-purpose test summaries and progress updates.
- Continuously assesses areas for improvement and contributes to the team efforts to iterate and improve overall.
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT with knowledge of the Finance/ Banking industry.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with the ability to contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and overarching governance.
- Proven track record and experience working collaboratively with staff and executives across the business at all levels as well as external stakeholders, preferably in financial services industry.
- Exposure to both manual and automated test procedures would be required.
- Confidence and ability to structure and communicate material effectively in both written and oral forms.
- A critical thinker with analytical, planning, organisational and time management skills.
