Occupational Therapist

Allied Care & Co is excited to announce an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing team as part of our Regional Outreach Team in a fly-in/fly-out role!

This position involves monthly travel to regional locations, including Rockhampton, Gladstone, Agnes Waters, and Bundaberg, where you will engage with clients and provide essential services. When not traveling, you’ll be working from home where you will focus on conducting assessments, liaising with families and support coordinators, developing care plans, and writing reports. We recognise the demands of travel and offer a day off in lieu during travel weeks. You will also be provided with all the tools you need for success in this role.

This role is crucial in delivering support to clients in our regional communities in North Queensland, where access to services is limited. We are looking for a flexible, fun-loving Occupational Therapist who can work with clients of all ages. If you’re a generalist OT with loads of experience who enjoys variety and making a difference in regional communities, we’d love to hear from you!

As services are very limited in Regional North Queensland, we are looking for Generalist Occupational Therapist’s who can support the following clients as the caseload is quite varied as per below:

👶 Child and youth clients including adults

🧠 Support for mental health

🛠 Home modifications

🏡 Home and living assessments including SIL & SDA

📑 Writing and completing functional capacity assessments & reports

🔖 A range of occupational therapy assessments

♿ Assistive technology

This is an amazing opportunity to expand your skills and experience, support clients living in Regional North Queensland and be supported by highly experienced Occupational Therapist’s along with our amazing regional support team. You will also have weekly clinical education sessions along with weekly 1 x hour 1:1 session with our inhouse clinical supervisor.
