Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-driven Content Creator (Marketing) to join our in-house team. This is a Permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) involving end-to-end content creation, from shooting to post-production, across a wide range of creative outputs.

The remuneration for this position is $85,000 – $90,000 + superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Videography

  • Capture compelling still life product photography (including deep-etched images) for ecommerce and marketing use
  • Produce and shoot video content including product highlights, styling tutorials, behind-the-scenes reels, and lifestyle content
  • Work on-location or in studio to photograph styled shoots, campaign imagery and store content

Post-Production

  • Retouch and deep-etch images to a professional standard for web and print
  • Edit video content for website, digital advertising and social media platforms (Instagram, Meta Ads, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Manage and maintain brand consistency across all visual assets

Content Strategy Support

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, styling and ecommerce teams to plan and execute content that aligns with seasonal campaigns and product launches
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming and content ideation for marketing initiatives
  • Ensure timely delivery of all assets in line with campaign deadlines

Asset Management

  • Organise and catalogue all digital assets and manage file delivery to internal teams
  • Maintain photography and video equipment, including lighting, lenses and studio setup

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in arts, communications, marketing or a highly relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in digital content production, including high-end photography and videography within the luxury lifestyle or premium retail sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, with a mandatory focus on Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for high-end video post-production, as well as Lightroom for professional image retouching. 
  • Expertise in end-to-end photography and videography, including studio lighting, artful composition, and creating social-first content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and analysing social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, and conversion) to provide data-driven recommendations for future content.
  • Ability to develop and execute complex content plans that align with broader marketing strategies, brand guidelines, and seasonal campaign objectives.
  • Ability to develop and implement digital marketing and social media strategies to increase brand awareness and searchability.
  • Experience in analysing data from digital marketing campaigns to recommend content updates that improve consumer engagement and sales metrics.
  • Strong organisational skills with a track record of managing multiple creative projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality contents on tight deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a retail or lifestyle brand environment
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and ecommerce photography requirements
  • Drone photography and editing skills (a plus but not required)
  • Strong Photography skills, specific focus on interiors or product photography for ecommerce
  • Adobe creative suite knowledge
  • Strong photo editing skills
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to meet quick turnaround times, multi-task, prioritise projects and communicate progress with management
  • Strong visual skills, including an eye for good lighting, shot composition and use of colour and graphics
  • Cin 7 knowledge is an advantage
  • Shopify knowledge
  • Knowledge of current homewares trends
  • Product styling ability
